In 'Trapped' (1949), convicted counterfeiter Tris Stewart (lloyd Bridges) is allowed to escape from custody as he is being transferred from Atlanta to Kansas City in order to have him unwittingly help the FBI and police find a counterfeit ring using the plates that he had hidden before his capture. In gladiator adventure 'Duel of the Champions' (1961), Roman nobleman Horatius (Alan Ladd) leads an Imperial Legion during the long and bloody war between the Romans and the Albans. 'The Big Chance' (1933) is a gritty boxing drama about an ambitious young boxer (Mickey Rooney) who ignores the advice of his rugged trainer and makes a poor choice of associates. He goes up against a veteran boxer after gangsters have put in 'the fix', only to decide to go for the win against the odds - and his life.
