The Sorcerer's Apprentice

Young Ben Clark is excited to discover that his new neighbour is an old magician called Milner and begs to be introduced into his secret world. Recognising the mysterious scar on Ben's face, Milner is at first reluctant, but eventually gives in when he accepts that Ben has a gift for the magical arts. However, every hundred years the evil Morgana returns to do battle with Milner and attempt to realise her ultimate aim of global destruction, and when she returns this time, young Ben finds himself at the centre of their struggle.
