Horror double feature. In 'Nightwing' (1979) suspicions arise when cattle go missing and are later found with strange bite marks. As Deputy Duran (Nick Mancuso) investigates the case, he receives grave warnings about the end of the world being nigh from medicine man Abner Tasupi (George Clutesi). Meanwhile, the discovery of oil shales by tribal leader Walker Chee (Stephen Macht) results in him trying to silence anyone from mentioning the attacks before he is able to make a deal with an oil company and receive profits from mining the area. In 'Shadow of the Hawk' (1976) expert medicine man Old Man Hawk (Chief Dan George) begins the process of training his grandson, Mike (Jan-Michael Vincent), in the arts of black magic that he has learned over the years. Initially sceptical about the potency of Old Man Hawk's powers, it isn't long before Mike becomes increasingly convinced of their efficiency as spirits start to haunt him.
