Triple bill of martial arts action comedies starring Jackie Chan and directed by Sammo Hung. In 'Winners and Sinners' (1983) a group of five petty thieves who meet in prison make the decision to give up the life of crime and start a cleaning business once they are free. However, when CID 07 (Chan), on the trail of a counterfeiter, discovers printing plates in the cleaning van belonging to the reformed men they find themselves drawn back into the criminal life from which they yearn to be free. In 'My Lucky Stars' (1985) Muscles (Chan) is a Hong Kong police officer who was raised in an orphanage. When his latest assignment takes him to Japan Muscles' partner is kidnapped. In order to free him and arrest the crook, Muscles calls on his former friends from the orphanage, who also happen to be ex-con men, to ably assist him. In the sequel, 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Lucky Stars' (1985) Muscles and his partner must protect a police informant from an organised gang based in Thailand.
