Double bill of Japanese sci-fi dramas directed by Ishiro Honda. In 'The H Man' (1958) a radioactive slime is able to take the form of a person and cause terror on the streets of Tokyo. When cabaret singer Chikako Arai (Yumi Shirakawa)'s drug-dealing boyfriend goes missing, as a result of being consumed by the slime, the police find her alibi too far-fetched. When biologist Dr. Masada (Kenji Sahara) speaks with Arai he is convinced she is telling the truth and has a theory about the radioactive source of this potent slime, much to the vexation of the police force. However, as more unexplained deaths take place the authorities come round to Masada's theory and soon use all their might to try and stop these liquid people from exterminating the human population. In 'Battle in Outer Space' (1959) a global crisis ensues following a number of strange disasters that take place. As an international team of scientists and leaders meet in Japan, they conclude that an alien force is attacking the planet. Led by Major Ichiro Katsumiya (Ryô Ikebe), the team launch two space ships to face off against the extra-terrestrial aggressors.
