American horror directed by Robert Englund. Cousins Spike (Patrick O'Bryan) and Hoax (Stephen Geoffreys) live together but have vastly different realities, while Spike is popular at school and has no problem with girls Hoax finds himself gaining unwanted attention from bullies and has no success when it comes to the opposite sex. When the boys come across a phone line that offers horror-themed fortunes Spike quickly loses interest whereas Hoax continues to use the service and soon discovers that Satan himself is behind the service. However, as he continues to use the line Hoax finds that his soul becomes consumed by the devil. When Spike learns about what is happening to Hoax he does all he can to save his cousin, but it may already be too late.
