After 'Topical dancer' his duet album with Charlotte Adigéry, Bolis Pupul is back with a solo album entitled 'Letter To Yu'. 'Letter to Yu' documents Bolis return to Hong Kong where he reconnected with his late mothers roots and captured the intimate process of this journey through music, video and photography assisted by his partner, photographer Bieke Depoorter. Produced by Soulwax it's a stunning work of electronic brilliance tackling such universal themes as grief, ancestry, love, loss, belonging, not belonging and the experience of being a third culture kid.
