'Paris, capital of solitude' is the diary of my 17 to 22 years old. I have had the title since I was 14. It was my cousin who had scribbled him on his coffee table while he lived in Paris. It reflects my admiration for Baudelaire and Parisian melancholy. Upon arrival in Paris, I felt a deep loneliness and detachment from others, accentuated by the departures, the returns, and the pain of love. I faced archaic fears, met the noise of the hospital, losing appetite and desire to live. The descent into hell. Is it Paris? Is this my life? Some see it as the capital of love, and I see it as the capital of loneliness. Impossible to write. I feel imploded. And I don't want to explode, because I know that when I explode, I destroy everything. I immerse myself in films, and it is in the universes of others that I find comfort. I dream of cinema again, and little by little, The poetry of ghosts and fictional cities allows me to find landmarks. Paris becomes Gotham City, and I find myself in the characters of comics. Those who suffer as long as they attack the whole earth, and those who suffer as long as they save the whole earth to save themselves.
