Understand were a post-hardcore band from Southend-on-sea who helped shaped the UKHC scene in the early to mid '90s. The band played relentlessly over the UK and Europe with bands like Helmet, Quicksand, Therapy?, Kerbdog, Bob Tilton, Fabric, Sick of it All and Jawbox.
