Ivan Calbérac adapts this French comedy drama from his own play. Henri (Claude Brasseur), a grumpy old man, makes a deal with young student Constance (Noémie Schmidt) that she can stay in his house for free for three months if she tries to break up his son Paul (Guillaume de Tonquedec)'s marriage.
