Documentary charting the life and career of leading fashion designer Valentino Garavani. Valentino entered the world of haute couture in the early 1950s, working for Jacques Fath, Balenciaga and Jean Desses. In 1959 he opened his own fashion house in Rome, and soon became one of the leading lights in European design, known for his trademark use of the colour red and his clean, stylish lines.
