This compilation features 25 tracks by the actress Nancy Walker who had a dual career as a vocalist. There are four rare early recordings from the Broadway musical "Best Foot Forward" that reveal a warm, smooth voice. Also included is a 1955 solo album "I Can Cook Too", as well as "My Square Laddie", a hilarious poke at "My Fair Lady", one of the most popular musicals appearing on Broadway at the time. Although her TV successes have obliterated her previous stage stardom and singing talent, this CD release is a charming reminder of Nancy Walker, an extraordinary performer.
