'Before the World Was Big' is the debut album by the Californian indie rock band, Girlpool. The release follows their critically acclamed self-titled EP, released in 2014. Their sound is raw, comprised only of a guitar, bass and vocal harmonies. Cleo Tucker (guitar) and Harmony Tividad (bass) use this stripped-down instrumentation to accentuate their vulnerable and powerful lyrics.
