For Anish, AK Cuts was designed to display breadth without losing cohesion, allowing him to flex various production muscles without giving the listener whiplash. Every track is underpinned by a purposeful 4-on-the-floor pulse, yet leans into a gritty, lo-fi aesthetic, eschewing pristine dance music in favour of the dusty, sampled textures that have become his signature.
