In this series, Gary (McHugh) challenges physical trainer, Corporal Fox (Ben McGregor), to a race after he fails the annual fitness test, and with the barracks under threat of closure, the boys unwisely decide to spice up MP Steven Maxwell (Jack Docherty)'s visit.
