On the occasion of its 40th anniversary, the Orchestre des Pays de Savoie looks across the Alps and pays tribute to the composer most closely associated with his history: Mozart. At the heart of the program are three cities that have shaped the composer's life: Salzburg, his birthplace surrounded by mountains, where the gallant and cheerful symphony No. 33 was created; Vienna, his residence city and symbol of his artistic freedom, with the impetuous symphony No. 35; and Linz, scene of his immense creative power, as Mo. tententententententenfrom only six days the sublime symphony no. 36.
