The muse of composer Philippe Hersant, for whom she created many scores, Alice Ader is without doubt one of the most mysterious and secretive figures on the musical scene. Having been withdrawn from the recording scene for several years, it was necessary to find a tailor-made project for her to return to the studio on the eve of her 80th birthday. In residence with Philippe Hersant, she will be recording her latest works, including the impressive In Black, a vast score that explores the musical past in complete freedom. Alongside the French composer's works, Alice Ader has chosen Franz Liszt's final scores, enigmatic and avant-garde.
