Tom Hardy and Michelle Williams reprise their roles in this sci-fi action sequel based on the Marvel Comics character. As he adjusts to life as the host of the alien symbiote Venom, investigative journalist Eddie Brock (Hardy) is granted an exclusive interview with incarcerated serial killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson). While Brock attempts to solve a murder case on behalf of Detective Patrick Mulligan (Stephen Graham), Kasady becomes the new host of symbiote Carnage and breaks out of prison to reunite with his former girlfriend Frances Barrison (Naomie Harris).
