Take Out - The Criterion Collection

Independent drama co-written and co-directed by Sean Baker and Shih-Ching Tsou. Ming Ding (Charles Jang) is an illegal Chinese immigrant working as a delivery man for a Chinese take-out restaurant in New York. The smugglers who brought him to the USA are chasing his debt and have given him until the end of the day to pay what he owes. Having borrowed what he can from friends and family, he knows that the rest must come from the day's tips and that he needs to more than double his daily income to earn enough.
