In the Mood for Love - The Criterion Collection

Romantic drama directed by Wong Kar-Wai set in Hong Kong in 1962. Mrs Chan (Maggie Cheung) and her husband live in the same building as Mr Chow (Tony Leung) and his wife. After a while, with their partners seemingly always away on business, Mr Chow and Mrs Chan become friends. Their hesitant, considerate relationship makes their nights alone more bearable, but why do their spouses spend so much time away? And why is it always at the same time?
