Cold Water - The Criterion Collection

Olivier Assayas writes and directs this French drama starring Virginie Ledoyen and Cyprien Fouquet. Friends Christine and Gilles (Ledoyen and Fouquet) are bored of their mundane lives and distant familes. They decide to make things interesting by stealing records from a supermarket but when Christine's parents find out they get angry and send her away. She manages to escape and travels with Gilles to a commune filled with like-minded youths and they attempt to start a new life together.
