Alan Arkin and Peter Falk star in this adventure comedy written by Andrew Bergman. When dentist Sheldon Kornpett (Arkin) hears of his daughter's engagement, he arranges a meeting with the father of the groom-to-be, Vince Ricardo (Falk). Unlike Sheldon, Vince is not your average member of the wedding party, with his current job being an agent for the CIA. When Sheldon accompanies Vince on a series of cases, the pair grow closer than either ever thought two in-laws could be.
