Agora - Die Säulen des Himmels

In ancient Egypt, the beautiful philosopher Hypatia works as a lecturer at the Library of Alexandria. Through her advanced theories, she comes into conflict with the increasingly influential Christians who spread their faith with fire and sword. Although Hypatia is loved by the slave Davus and her noble student Orestes, she finally faces the religious fanatics alone - and embarks with her commitment to humanity and science in the highest danger of life.
