The shocking and true story of a boy who is different from everyone else: when 15-year-old Rocky Dennis comes to school, everyone turns in horror after him: through an incurable illness, Rocky's head took on monstrous proportions. But he himself can deal amazingly well with his disability. Rocky is highly intelligent, empathetic and no one who gets to know him closer finds it hard to sincerely like him. His best friends are a group of rockers with whom his attractive mother Rusty moves around until one day her former boyfriend Gar returns to her. In vain, Rocky and Gar try to stop the mother and girlfriend from drug abuse. Completely frustrated Rocky travels to a holiday camp where he falls in love with a blind girl.
