In Clint Eastwood's second film as director (after the successful "Play Misty For Me"), he returns to the West and make a new variant of the man without a name.
This time he plays a mysterious stranger (The Stranger) who emerges from the desert's shimmering heat, and rides into the debt-ridden town of Lago.
