High Plains Drifter

In Clint Eastwood's second film as director (after the successful "Play Misty For Me"), he returns to the West and make a new variant of the man without a name.
This time he plays a mysterious stranger (The Stranger) who emerges from the desert's shimmering heat, and rides into the debt-ridden town of Lago. Already during the first 20 minutes takes three murders and one rape rooms and city representatives gives him the task of protecting residents against the three gunmen who has just been released from prison. The supernatural nasty The Stranger tackles upprdaget by first painting the entire city of blood red and renaming it to Hell, and then carry out a reprisal, but God's equal.
