KILWATER release 13 thrilling instrumental compositions with their self-titled debut album, which could also represent the excellent soundtrack of a 70s action series. 'Kilwater' appears as a CD on GUSSTAFF RECORDS. Founded in 2011 by MARCIN 'BOOGIE' WIECZORKIEWICZ (exDANSE MACABRE) in Poznan, Poland, the quintet initially played mainly cover songs, but also already influenced by surf rock. These have since perfected KILWATER so that every single track on their 13 songs strong debut could contribute to the soundtrack of a film. So as if you listen to the big coup of a gang of crooks in the latest ItaloWestern. The cheeky surf rock guitar is interrupted by saxophone and synthesizers and gets lost in jazzy improvisations and funky rhythms the next moment. In addition to eleven fantastic instrumentals, there are only two compositions on 'Kilwater', on which vocals also make their way to the musical screen: 'Boom! (And You re Gone)' feat. PETER J. BIRCH and 'Dark Side' feat. GOSIA 'SIARA' WITKOWSKA. A thrilling debut album that makes you want the band's next coup.
