Johnny Walker (Anthony Michael Hall) is the star athlete every U.S college wants on their football team, and those colleges are prepared to offer him all kinds of bribes - free cash, fast cars, beautiful girls, and wine aplenty - to get him to sign on the dotted line. But while he enjoys all the luxuries that come his way, Johnny is also aware that he has promised to attend the local univerity with his girlfriend Georgia (Uma Thurman). Pitting his appetite against his honour, Johnny keeps everyone guessing right up to the final moment and has a lot of fun along the way.
