Whilst on a mission in Afghanistan, black-ops soldier Craig Mackenzie (Slater) is forced to disobey orders to rescue his buddy, Reed (Freddy Rodríguez), from the hands of double-dealing CIA agent, Mason (Colm Meaney). Four years later, the unemployed soldiers reluctantly accept an offer of work to protect a group of millionaires who have signed up to participate in no-risk, real-life war games. But when things suddenly go wrong, Mackenzie and Reed find themselves isolated behind enemy lines with a bunch of untrained rich civilians, having to fight for their lives against a ruthless dictator (Gennadi Vengerov) and their former nemesis, Mason.
