A double-bill of children's features. In 'Flicka' (2006), Katy McLaughlin (Alison Lohman) is a headstrong 16-year-old, eager to show her father that she is mature enough to manage the family ranch one day. In an attempt to prove her capabilties, she befriends and attempts to tame a wild mustang. In the sequel, 'Flicka 2' (2010), hard-bitten city girl Carrie (Tammin Sursok) finds it difficult adapting to a new life when she moves to her father (Patrick Warburton)'s horse ranch in Wyoming. But her days soon brighten when she meets a wild mustang named Flicka and falls for a young local cowboy.
