Jane Nichols (Katherine Heigl) has led a selfless, romantic life, always putting others needs first and herself last, especially when it comes to marriage. With 27 bridesmaid dresses in her cupboard, Jane is beginning to see a pattern developing. Scuttling between receptions one evening, she's spotted by a cynical local reporter (James Marsden) who sees her story as the ideal vehicle to move up the career ladder. But when her younger sister, Tess (Malin Akerman), makes moves on her boss, George (Edward Burns), who she secretly adores, Jane finally realises it's time to grab her life by the horns before it's too late. Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher star in 'What Happens in Vegas' (2008) as Joy and Jack, two strangers who spend a drunken night together in Las Vegas only to wake up the next morning to discover that they've married each other. To make matters worse, Jack wins the $3 million jackpot on a slot machine after playing Joy's quarter. Unwilling to come to an agreement over the money, they go to court where the judge freezes the cash and orders them to work on their marriage for six months. The newlyweds begin devising schemes to undermine each other and get their hands on the money, only to find themselves falling in love despite the mutual backstabbing. 'In Her Shoes' (2005) is a comedy drama about two sisters with nothing in common except size 8-and-a-half feet. Maggie (Cameron Diaz) and Rose (Toni Collette) Feller are both best friends and polar opposites when it comes to values, goals and personal style. Maggie is a party girl who barely graduated from high school, recycles jobs as quickly as yesterday's newspapers and believes her biggest asset is her attractiveness to the opposite sex, while Rose (Toni Collette) is a Princeton-educated attorney at a top law firm who struggles constantly with her weight and never feels comfortable in the clothes she wears. After a calamitous falling out, the two sisters travel a bumpy road toward true appreciation for one another - aided along the way by the discovery of Ella (Shirley MacLaine), the maternal grandmother they both thought was dead.
