Polish Wedding

The members of the Polish-American clan the Pzoniaks share one family trait: a propensity to make their love lives as complicated as possible. The tempestuous mother, Jadzia (Lena Olin), may have her husband and sons firmly under control, but her daughter Hala (Claire Danes) is of a more wilful temperament. Inevitably the mother/daughter relationship becomes strained as Hala resolves to take her life into her own hands.
