Violet Evergarden: The Movie

Feature-length anime based on the light novel series by Kana Akatsuki. The demand for Auto Memory Dolls might be waning but Violet Evergarden (voice of Yui Ishikawa) remains in demand for her letters because of her gift with words. The Great War where she lost Gilbert Bougainvillea (Daisuke Namikawa) is long over, but Violet continues to explore emotions and try to make sense of love. When she realises Gilbert might still be alive, she travels to the remote island of Ekarte in search of him.
