The Fighting Kentuckian

John Wayne stars in this Western written and directed by George Waggner. John Breen (Wayne) is a member of a Kentucky regiment that helped defeat the British at New Orleans in 1815. Travelling through Alabama on his way home, he falls in love with Fleurette de Marchand (Vera Ralston) and helps her and the other French settlers with her fight back against unscrupulous land developers. Philip Dorn and Oliver Hardy also star.
