Hiroyuki Imaishi directs this Japanese anime. 30 years ago, a series of spontaneous human combustions wiped out half of the Earth's population, with some surviving humans, known as Burnish, evolving to develop skills in pyrokinesis. In the city of Promepolis, Galo Thymos (voice of Billy Kametz) is a member of firefighting organisation Burning Rescue. When they receive reports of attacks by fire-starting terrorist group Mad Burnish, Galo and the other Burning Rescue members set out to stop the attacks before it's too late.
