Nightmares

Horror anthology containing four films directed by Joseph Sargent. In 'Terror in Topanga' a chain-smoker ventures out to buy cigarettes despite knowing that an escaped dangerous criminal is at large. In 'The Bishop of Battle' a video game enthusiast challenges a stranger but is unaware of how realistic the game can be. In 'The Benediction' a disillusioned priest sets out to restore his faith and takes a journey into the desert, but soon finds that he is not alone. In 'Night of the Rat' a woman begins to hear rats scurrying around within the walls of her home and asks her husband to alleviate the situation, but he gets more than he bargained for when he sees the magnitude of the problem.
