Sci-fi spoof consisting of several comedy sketches directed by John Landis, Joe Dante, Carl Gottlieb, Peter Horton and Robert K. Weiss and starring Michelle Pfeiffer, B.B. King and Carrie Fisher among others. In 'Hospital' Brenda Landers (Pfeiffer) gives birth to Mr. Potato Head. In 'Son of the Invisible Man' Griffin (Ed Begley Jr.) mistakenly believes that he is invisible and amazes onlookers with his magic. 'Blacks Without Soul' follows B.B. King as he mounts a defence of black people born without his trademark soul and in 'Reckless Youth' syphilis-stricken Mary Brown (Fisher) is counselled by an arrogant doctor.
