Five Weeks in a Balloon

Adventure comedy directed by Irwin Allen and starring Red Buttons, Fabian and Barbara Eden. Fergusson (Cedric Hardwicke) and his colourful crew embark on an adventure in a hot air balloon with the aim of charting unexplored lands in West Africa and claiming them for Britain. The motley assortment of characters are involved in all manner of hijinks and escapades on their journey including braving a sandstorm, encountering native tribesmen and even an audience with a sheik.
