Into The West

Mike Newell directs this fantasy adventure starring Gabriel Byrne and Ellen Barkin. The film follows the story of a mythical white horse called Tir-Nan-Og that turns up in modern-day Dublin where it is adpoted by two boys. Seeking adventure, they ride the horse westward, hotly pursued by their father, a disillusioned gypsy (Byrne) and his lover Kathleen (Barkin). The cast also includes Ruaidhri Conroy, Ciaran Fitzgerald and John Kavanagh.
