Damnation Alley

1970s sci-fi thriller in which a group of people search for a place of respite having survived a third world war. Lieutentant Jake Tanner (Jan-Michael Vincent) and Major Eugene Denton (George Peppard) are on duty in the US Air Force when a nuclear attack is launched. After two years, the war has caused mass destruction to Earth and left few survivors. Tanner and Denton aside three others head towards potential safety in Albany in specially designed all-terrain vehicles, meeting many dangers on the way including mutant insects and electrical storms.
