Pat Murphy writes and directs this drama set between Belfast and London during The Troubles. The story is told in fragments as Maeve Sweeney (Mary Jackson) moves to London where she embraces the diverse outlook that life affords her compared to the stifling atmosphere of war-torn Belfast. On her return home Maeve tries to challenge the more conventional attitudes towards women and their place in society.
