Comedy drama 'The Crowded Day' (1954), starring John Gregson, Joan Rice, Dora Bryan and Prunella Scales, focuses on a day in the life of a group of sales assistants in a London department store. Romantic comedy 'Song of Paris' (1952) sees English salesman Matthew Ibbetson (Dennis Price) fall for a beautiful French singer called Clementine (Anne Vernon). This leads Matthew into battle against a vile Count who wants Clementine for himself.
