Bluebeat is a genre of Jamaican rhythm and blues (R&B) and ska music, which was popular in the 1960s and later decades. The name is derived from the UK-based record label, Blue Beat Records. Some of those early releases are included in this compilation, which is the second in a series of three volumes, which has been painstakingly created for all the lovers, old and new, of this special genre of music.
