ABOUT THE ARTIST
Bass player Leo Lyons appearance with iconic Blues Rock band 'Ten Years After' at Woodstock in August 1969 sealed his status and is still talked about to this day but Leo is no stranger to creating classic material.

Aside from his fifty plus years association with TYA band mate Alvin Lee, Leo cut his teeth with the best of the best in the British Blues scene working with many household names. His later his production, engineering or song writing work with TYA, UFO, Magnum, Waysted, Procol Harem, Frankie Miller, Richard and Linda Thompson, Brigitte St John, John Martin, Kevin Coyne, Sassafras, Motorhead, Chris Farlow etc. showed another side to the man.

In 2010 Leo teamed up with the brilliant Joe Gooch (guitar and vocals) and Damon Sawyer (drums) to form Hundred Seventy Split. Having set the bar high with their well-received debut album The World Won't Stop, the band followed up with H.S.S in 2014. Featuring standout tracks such as 'Pork Pie Hat' and 'Let Me Go'. Making music to 'Rock outside of the TYA box' is the band’s raison d’etre, and whether on stage or in the studio, they have cultivated a strong following.
