Coogan's Bluff

Don Siegel directs this American action drama starring Clint Eastwood as Arizona deputy Walt Coogan. When Coogan is sent to New York City to extradite a prisoner back home to Arizona his efforts at subverting the bureaucratic process result in fugitive Jimmy Ringerman (Don Stroud) escaping, much to the chagrin of Lieutenant McElroy (Lee J. Cobb). Despite this, Coogan remains in New York and attempts to make amends for his earlier mishap even though this means taking matters into his own hands.
