Filmmaker Hannah Rothschild was granted access to all areas of Mandelson's life from October 2009 - shadowing the then First Secretary of State and Business Secretary - through to June 2010, following Labour's election failure. In this highly candid portrait, interviews are snatched on train journeys or at the end of long, exhausting days. However it is the observational scenes of Mandelson at work that prove to be the most revealing.

The film received its premiere at the London Film Festival in October 2010 and was broadcast as part of BBC4's 'Storyville' series, receiving widespread critical acclaim.
