When private investigator Marty Hopkirk (Cope) is killed in a hit and run accident he immediately returns as a ghost. However, the only person who can see and interact with him is his colleague Jeff Randall (Pratt). Together the pair look to bring Hopkirk's killer to justice aided by Hopkirk's widow Jeannie (Andre).
