The Warren Case

Walter Summers writes and directs this drama starring Richard Bird. Crazed alcoholic newspaper reporter Louis Bevan (Bird), out of jealousy and love for the daughter of his editor, May Clavering (Nancy Burne), frames her lover Hugh Waddon (Edward Underdown) for the murder of Bevan's mistress, Pauline Warren (Diana Napier). With Hugh sentenced to execution it seems Louis has gotten away with his wicked deed.
