Karl Hartl directs this comedy drama starring Bobby Henrey as ten-year-old orphan Sebastian Giro. He is plucked from the orphanage by Mr Gorik (Elwyn Brook-Jones) who exploits Sebastian's natural talent as a classical pianist and manages his rapidly growing career whilst pocketing much of the child's income for himself. When Sebastian's elderly governess Miss Frisbie (Muriel Aked) uncovers Mr Gorik's scheme he has her fired. Undeterred, Miss Frisbie decides to enlist the help of a gang of criminals to rescue Sebastian.
