It's That Man Again

Walter Forde directs this 1940s British comedy. The Mayor of Foaming-at-the-Mouth (Tommy Handley) is having trouble balancing his accounts when he acquires a West End Theatre in a poker game and discovers that a group of drama students are sheltering in the derelict theatre. The Mayor's attempts to make money out of a new play backfire, and he ends up on the run, in debt to students and bailiffs alike.
