The Four Just Men

Late 1930s thriller based on the novel by Edgar Wallace following four self-confessed patriots as they set out to foil a threat to the British Empire. World War I veterans Humphrey Mansfield (Hugh Sinclair), James Brodie (Griffith Jones), Léon Poiccard (Francis L. Sullivan) and James Terry (Frank Lawton) share a love for their country which inspires them to risk their lives to protect it. When Terry receives information which suggests that a British MP who advocates the policy of appeasement, Sir Hamar Ryman (Alan Napier), is actually a Nazi agent preparing the ground for a German invasion, the four friends set out to foil him. Will they succeed?
